Dialogue is what knits communities of the glove together; it allows us to engage in meaning-sharing and to further our own understandings of the world. To be in dialogue means that participants are not only engaging each other in light of their different views, but are also striving to achieve a degree of mutual understanding.
Reflect on the meaning of 'dialogue' by watching (or reading) 'Old Turtle and the Broken Truth', and by watching Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches - then reflect on the meaning of dialogue!
