By practicing nonviolence with ourselves, we begin to see how it might apply toward others.  Each personal practice can be turned into a practice toward another.

Inspiration

Affirmations are a great way to begin practicing self-forgiveness. Practice one affirmation for the next seven days:
  1. I am worthy of a life of joy and allow myself to accept it.​
  2. I believe in my dreams, myself, and all that I am.
  3. I love myself as I am.
  4. I believe in my abilities and strength.
  5. I have made mistakes, but I will not let them define me.
  6. My life has meaning. What I do has meaning. My actions are meaningful.
  7. I am worthy of love and respect.
