Quote
“We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been — a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power. Community means strength that joins our strength to do the work that needs to be done.” ~ Starhawk
Reflection
Nonviolence is building the courage to speak and act with respect, reverence and compassion. Rejoice in the work that you have done. Celebrate the journey that you have made with countless others who believe that every individual can move the world in the direction of peace with their nonviolent choices and actions. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Affirmation
Today I celebrate all the moments we choose to be compassionate, kind, tolerant, generous…I celebrate that together we are creating a culture of peace and nonviolence in the world.

Quote

"Life is a celebration of awakenings, of new beginnings, and wonderful surprises that enlighten the soul." ~ Cielo

Daily Action
Celebrate your knowledge and maturity, your choice of nonviolence, and the journey you have chosen.
Quote
“When you see the Earth from space, you don't see any divisions of nation-states there. This may be the symbol of the new mythology to come; this is the country we will celebrate, and these are the people we are one with.”
~ Joseph Campbell

Action for Teens
Today is a day to celebrate all the work that you have done. Be proud of yourself for being willing to be the change you wish to see in the world.

Action for Children

Plan a peace party with your family.  Celebrate the end of the Season for Nonviolence and the ways in which you learned to "be the change".

Quotes
“When you look back on your life, you should have changed the world somehow.” ~ Senal Sarihan

“Gather yourselves; banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred way and in celebration.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” ~ Hopi Elder
