About this Program
Beginning in November, the Mahatma Gandhi Canadian Foundation for World Peace will host a Truth and Reconciliation Reading Club. You are invited to join members of the Foundation as we commit to completing the University of Alberta’s open online course: Indigenous Canada. Our “Reading Club” will engage in the following activities:
- We will meet every two weeks to discuss what we are learning in the online course (see proposed schedule below).
- We will host three in-person sessions to learn from Indigenous Educators in the Edmonton area and to deepen our knowledge.
- Each participant will receive a motivational learning kit at the start of the course.
- Our shared deadlines will help you set goals to achieve your Indigenous Canada course certificate!
