The Reconciliation Committee is committed to advancing meaningful and action-oriented pathways toward truth and reconciliation. Grounded in respect, relationship-building, and accountability, our work supports a future in which Indigenous rights, voices, and leadership are fully recognized and honored. Our committee focuses on three key areas:
Community-Based Education: We create and support educational opportunities that deepen understanding of the history and ongoing impacts of colonization, and promote awareness of Indigenous cultures, perspectives, and contributions.
Support for Indigenous-Led Initiatives: Through donations and collaborative partnerships, we uplift the work of Indigenous-led non-profit and community organizations that are leading transformative efforts in their communities.
Dialogue and Relationship Building: We facilitate opportunities for dialogue and connection between Indigenous and newcomer communities, fostering mutual respect, learning, and shared commitments to justice.
We believe reconciliation is a shared responsibility that requires both reflection and action. If you are passionate about this work, we invite you to join us.
